KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Joey Aguilar is a veteran graduate transfer quarterback and Tennessee’s official starter. He’s poised to make an impact on Rocky Top in his fifth season after heading into Knoxville from UCLA and a record-breaking two-year stint at Appalachian State.

He’s been hopping around schools a bit, but Aguilar said his family is happy he’s landed at Tennessee.

“They loved it,” he said. “My parents, you know, we grew up in a big football family. To wear this orange, they’re excited, just as excited as I am.”
