Actor Jerry Adler , best known for roles on The Sopranos and the film Manhattan Murder Mystery , has died at the age of 96, his family announced in a Dignity Memorial obituary shared on Saturday (August 23).

"Jerry Adler passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on February 4, 1929, Jerry was a resident of New York, New York," the obituary states in the care of Riverside Memorial Chapel.

Adler, a native of Brooklyn, was surrounded by loved ones in New York City at the time of his death, according to the New York Post .
