Kids’ entertainment is about to get an upgrade.
Irving, Texas-based Chuck E. Cheese is preparing to launch the first iteration of its new concept location, Adventure World. The 12,000-square-foot indoor active play experience will tentatively open its doors in early November in Arlington.
“It’s all about kids’ imagination and play,” Chuck E. Cheese president and CEO David McKillips said. “We came out with really a fabulous execution that is going to be so awesome for kids to just run and play and bounce and it’s all about active play.”
McKillips explained that Chuck E. Cheese began experimenting in the active play space about two years ago, putting in trampoline zones and opening its Superhero Playground. The small active play units are only built for kids shorter than 56 inches. But th
