A man was stabbed in an alley by an unknown assailant Saturday in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

According to Chicago police, the 43-year-old man was walking in an alley when he was attacked by a knife-wielding suspect. Police say the man was slashed twice on his left arm and was stabbed in the back during the incident.

The man was transported to an area hospital in good condition, police said.

The victim in the stabbing did not provide additional details on the attack to police, and no further information was available at this time.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
