FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) - The Prince of Peace Center in Farrell is launching a new mentoring program for young men.

The program, called Q Academy, will provide positive male role models for underserved teens in grades 7 through 12.

It's being piloted this fall at Sharon City Schools.

Students can earn class credit and qualify for a savings account when they graduate.

They will also gain volunteer, job shadowing and career placement opportunities.

The program is backed by several funders, including the Buhl Regional Health Foundation.
