A crash into a Lower Macungie business building last week has forced the temporary closure of a well-known hibachi grill and sushi chain.

Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi, located in Suite 225 at 6900 Hamilton Blvd., has shuttered for repairs, its owners posted on the business’ Facebook page. The posting was made just after Tuesday’s accident.

“Don’t worry — we’ll share our reopening date as soon as we can!," the posting states, along with a heart emoji. “... Thanks for your understanding & support — we can’t wait to welcome you back soon!"

Owners forwarded patrons to the eatery’s other establishment at Parkway Center, 1519 Lehigh St., in Allentown for pickup orders. Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi also has a third location at Quakertown Plaza, 1465 W. Broad St. in Quakertown, Bucks
