DETROIT, MI – A 16-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to the head at Butzel playground in Detroit, police said.

The teen was discovered around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in the 14800 block of Monte Vista Street, according to Fox 2 Detroit .

The boy was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, the news outlet reported.

No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
