Shedeur Sanders is nothing if not polarizing.

The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback was the talk of the 2025 NFL draft. Slated by some to be a first-round talent, Cleveland was instead able to select Sanders in the fifth round as he tumbled down draft boards.

ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. was left perplexed through most of the proceedings, at one point saying it was "disgusting" that Sanders — the No. 5 player on his big board — could slip so far out of the first round .

It was a hot start to Sanders' professional career, making the jump from college standout at Colorado to the pros with some early speed bumps (and a Mel Kiper rant, to boot).

Needless to say, plenty of eyeballs will be on Sanders as he aims to prove the doubters wrong with a successful NFL career. Brown
