NEW YORK – Wayne Brola Marsico, a longtime Rockland County resident and beloved member of the ARC Rockland community, will appear in the bright lights of Manhattan’s Times Square on Saturday, September 6, as part of the annual National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Times Square Video Presentation.
The one-hour video of 500 photographs includes children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome from all 50 states and 14 countries. These collective images highlight individuals with Down syndrome in the most visible way on a jumbo screen, generously donated by Clear Channel, in the heart of Times Square.
The photo of Wayne was selected from nearly 3,000 entries in the NDSS worldwide call for photos. Wayne passed away in January of last year, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 56. He w
