An Urbandale woman was killed and five other people were injured, including three from Des Moines, when two pickup trucks collided in Bremer County northeast of Waterloo, the Iowa State Patrol says.

The crash occurred at 1:34 p.m. at the intersection of 190th Street and Piedmont Avenue, about 2 miles south of Tripoli, when a Toyota Tacoma southbound on Piedmont Avenue, driven by Lal Pui Puia Sai Lo, 47, of Des Moines, hit the driver's side of a Ford F-150 eastbound on 190th Street, an Iowa State Patrol report said. It said the driver of the Ford, Trivona Drewis, 82, of Waverly, had failed to yield to a stop sign at the intersection.
