Manchester United target Senne Lammens missed Royal Antwerp's 2-1 Pro League win over KV Mechelen on Sunday afternoon amid continued transfer speculation over his future.

It's understood that the goalkeeper is closing in on becoming Ruben Amorim's fifth summer arriva l. United have not ruled out signing a new goalkeeper before the window closes on September 1 but they are not planning on adding an undisputed number one.

After being linked with Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain's Gianluigi Donnarumma, United look set to secure Lammens' services. The Manchester Evening News understands that Onana "will 100% stay" at the club despite the possibility of new competition.
