Louisiana festivals are merchandising bonanzas. People like to hold onto their memories of good times, and pin and poster sales are hot at events like Festival International de Louisiane or the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. Everybody loves a piece of art that both celebrates Louisiana, and commemorates a great weekend.

The International Rice Festival, held each October in Crowley, is one of Louisiana's oldest agricultural festivals. This Oct. 16 to 19, the festival will celebrate its 88th year with the theme "rice reigns" — and on Aug. 17, the festival committee revealed this year's poster to an eager community.
