CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A Marble Hill man charged with child crimes has waived his preliminary hearing.

According to online court documents, Joshua A. Webb requested to transfer the case from Bollinger County to Cape Girardeau County, which was approved on August 22. He also waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

In April 2025, the Bollinger Co. Sheriff’s Office began investigating a child sexual assault report involving Webb.

Then in May, a no-bond warrant was issued for his arrest for several felonies, including multiple counts of child molestation, sodomy and statutory rape, among other charges.

In June, Webb was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Pasco County, Florida. Authorities say he left Missouri when the investigation began.

Webb was then brought back to Bollinger
