30-year-old arrested after man shot in League City

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Police in League City have arrested a 30-year-old man after they say he shot another man early Sunday morning.

Authorities say it happened just after 1 a.m. in the 2500 block of Attwater Way.

Police say they arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital.

Investigators determined the incident began after an argument between the victim and his girlfriend, who had called for an Uber.

When the driver, identified as Mark Anthony Gonzalez arrived, a confrontation occurred between Gonzalez and the victim which led to the shooting.

Gonzalez has been charged with aggravated assault. His bond has been set at $100,000.
