SISTERS, Ore. (KPTV) - The Flat Fire burning in Jefferson County grew to nearly 22,000 acres by Sunday morning and is zero percent contained, according to Oregon fire officials.

The Oregon State Fire Marshal has also established a unified command for the fire:

The Flat Fire began Thursday at 4:29 p.m. and grew to about 3,300 acres by Friday morning. Also on Friday, Governor Tina Kotek invoked the Emergency Conflagration Act for the Flat Fire.

Officials say firefighters worked overnight to protect structures and build a fire line.
