Edinburgh residents struggled to leave the Royal Highland Centre on Friday due to the massive crowd of people trying to exit the showgrounds.
Fans of the North Shields singer gathered in their thousands to see the Geordie artist perform on Friday, August 22 and while they certainly enjoyed their time at the concert, it seemed trying to exit the venue was a "absolute carnage".
An estimated 20,000 people were in attendance on Friday night, with many of them trying to make it back into the city centre after the gig .
One resident who struggled to make it home on public transport told Edinburgh Live: "It was absolute carnage. It has to be expected, but it was rammed.
"The crowds moved so slowly; it was never ending."
