NEW YORK (PIX11) — President Donald Trump will be at the 2025 Ryder Cup for the opening round, he announced on social media Saturday.
The president said he will be in attendance for the foursome round on Friday, Sept. 26, at Bethpage Black. He said he was invited by the PGA Tour.
President Trump believes "it will be a great Ryder Cup." He also believes the captain of the United States, Keegan Bradley, should compete.
"Keegan Bradley should DEFINITELY be on the American Ryder Cup Team - As Captain," Trump said in his post. "He is an AMAZING guy."
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman says that the county is excited to have the president in town for such a large event.
"We are honored President Trump will be in Nassau County for the Ryder Cup. Go USA," Blakeman said.
