LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Warm but pleasant weather will continue Monday with rain looking limited through mid-week.
If you like the break from high humidity, you’ll enjoy Monday. In fact, some spots north of Interstate-10 may see upper 60’s on the map around sunrise, with low 70’s along I-10!
Of course it’s still August which means temps will warm quickly. Highs in the low/mid 90’s will be a good bet Monday afternoon. But with humidity staying lower, we’re not expecting much if any rain which will give us a nice afternoon.
Another weak front will arrive on Tuesday and could bring a slightly better chance for a couple spotty showers or storms. Rain chances will drop on Wednesday as humidity is knocked down again. We may need to wait closer to the end of the week for scattered storms to
