LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Summerlin South will settle for the U.S. Championship after dropping the last game of the Little League World Series 7-0.

Nevada took on Chinese Taipei, representing the Asia-Pacific region, in the final game of the Little League Baseball World Series tournament. Chinese Taipei clinched its spot in the championship game after defeating the Caribbean region 1-0 on Saturday.

A celebratory parade is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. in downtown Summerlin as the team representing Nevada returns home.

The Summerlin South team reached the Little League Baseball World Series championship game by winning five of its six tournament games, losing only once to Connecticut en route to the U.S. championship:
