QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A Brooklyn man has been accused of multiple attempted carjackings, including one incident that led to a New York Police Detective being shot, according to Queens County District Attorney Melinda Katz.

Kevin Dubuisson, 28, was charged Sunday with numerous crimes for an alleged string of carjacking attempts in Queens on Friday.

According to Katz, all of the events occurred between 8:40 and 9 a.m.

Dubuisson, of Brooklyn, allegedly began by walking into a parked car at a Mobil Gas Station that had its engine running with the keys inside. An employee of the Mobil on Parsons Boulevard in Whitestone is said to have walked outside to tell Dubuisson to get out of the car.
