MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating shots fired early Sunday morning in Arlington.

Early Sunday morning, around 12:45 a.m., Arlington deputies responded to a shooting call at Waffle House, located on the 11000 block of Hwy 70.

After arriving on the scene, they were informed that an argument had broken out between two groups of customers inside the restaurant.

As tensions rose, one of the people involved went outside to the parking lot to grab a gun and fired multiple shots in the air.

No injuries have been reported, and everyone involved left the restaurant before officers arrived.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
