TANGIPAHOA PARISH (WVUE) - Tangipahoa Parish School System (TPSS) officials have issued an operational update following the recent explosion near the Smitty’s site, impacting several school facilities and neighborhoods.

While most schools across the district will reopen as scheduled on Monday, Roseland Montessori will remain closed due to ongoing safety assessments in the vicinity of the blast.

District officials confirmed that the TPSS Central Office and all branch offices will also be open and fully operational on Monday.
