Monday’s forecast looks very similar to Sunday, with highs climbing into the mid to upper 90s. Spokane’s daily record of 98 degrees will be challenged, as partly cloudy skies and a light north breeze offer little relief. Some smoke and haze could also drift into the region, impacting air quality.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect for Spokane and much of the Inland Empire through Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, areas to the west and south are under an Excessive Heat Warning through mid-week as the entire Northwest bakes under this late August heat.
