As part of a fairly routine day of Glendale City Council meetings Aug. 26, three different annexation proposals at three different stages are on the docket.
Staff will introduce a new proposal to annex 8.5 acres for industrial development at the northwest corner of Reems Road and Myrtle Avenue. Properties to the east and south are within the city’s boundaries, with Maricopa County land to the north and west.
Property owner Woudenberg Properties requested the annexation. It intends to build two buildings totaling 26,056 square feet, which could be for leased warehouse space or leased manufacturing.
The council will hear the proposal at its workshop, which begins at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the Glendale Civic Center, 5750 W. Glenn Drive.
