GRAND FORKS — Colin Grubb won a national championship with Shattuck-St. Mary's 16U team this spring.
This summer, he led the Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in scoring
Now, he's earned a future spot with his home-state college hockey program.
Grubb, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound center from Minot, continued his big year by announcing a commitment to UND on Instagram on Sunday night.
"It's an absolute dream come true," Grubb said. "Growing up around it, you know it's the pride of the state. To be able to (commit to UND), it's an unreal feeling and something I definitely do not take lightly. Hopefully, I can help North Dakota win some national championships moving forward."
