EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- One person was airlifted after a crash involving a motorcycle on Sunday, Aug. 24, in far East El Paso, according to the El Paso Fire Department.

The call came in shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Zaragoza and Rich Beem.

One person was taken to a local hospital via El Paso Fire's FSTAR helicopter.

Zaragoza was closed in both directions for about an hour before reopening at about 6:15 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
