Landover, MD – The Powerball jackpot may have rolled over again, but two lucky Maryland players each landed $500,000 prizes in Wednesday night’s Double Play drawing, with winning tickets sold in Landover and Riverdale, the Maryland Lottery announced.

The Aug. 20 drawing didn’t produce a jackpot winner, bumping the Powerball grand prize to an estimated $700 million annuity ($316.3 million cash option) for the next drawing on Saturday. However, two players who paid an extra $1 for the Double Play option came away with massive wins.

The two winning tickets, each matching all five white balls but not the red Power Ball in the Double Play drawing, were sold at Landover Hills Exxon at 6579 Annapolis Road in Landover and A-1 Laundromat at 6818 Riverdale Road in Riverdale. Each ticket is worth $
