Colonial Division

Divisional breakdown : NJIC football was condensed down to four divisions prior to last year and the Colonial was essentially a two-team race between rivals Becton and Lyndhurst that was decided in a low-scoring affair on opening night. Becton defeated the Golden Bears 14-7 and controlled its own destiny the rest of the way with a 6-0 in-division record. Cresskill-Emerson Boro has moved out of the division, but the Colonial should have intrigue this fall with the league showcasing two new coaches and the likes of Elmwood Park, Garfield, Lodi and Palisades Park-Leonia boasting improved rosters.
