MANCHESTER, N.H. —
New Hampshire's role in the 2028 election is expected to be a hot topic at the Democratic National Committee's meeting this week.
In the last election cycle, the DNC tried to supersede the state's first-in-the-nation primary status.
It's enshrined in the state constitution that New Hampshire be at least a week before any other state.
New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley, who is in Minneapolis for the meeting, said the DNC is looking for a swing state to lead the primary.
