Chesapeake Fire Department investigates house fire

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- The Chesapeake Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire Sunday evening.

The fire was brought under control at 6:40 p.m.

Officials said the occupants were able to safely evacuate the residence and no one was hurt.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
