COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Mark your calendars. The date has been set for a fan celebration of the Irmo Little League team after its historic World Series Run.

If you want to celebrate the Irmo Little League team’s historic World Series performance, you can join the community on September 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The big event will be held at Friarsgate Park in Irmo at 1712 Chadford Road.

The Irmo Little League all-stars made it back home Saturday after a magical run at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Although the boys are returning home after a hard-fought 5-3 loss against the LLWS US Champions, Nevada , they’re returning to a community that is nothing short of proud of their accomplishments.
