COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - It’s been almost 175 years since the Lexington United Methodist Church got its start in a log cabin with only five members.

Today, WIS got a sneak peek at the church’s official anniversary celebration.

On September 7, the church is hosting a blended service so everyone can fellowship together on a rare occasion.

The service will include music from both Our Praise Band and Our Chancel Choir, as well as messages from former pastors.
