Eagles general manager Howie Roseman won’t put his phone down. He just made his third trade of the day, sending offensive tackle Darian Kinnard to the Green Bay Packers for a 2027 sixth-round pick.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the trade . A person with knowledge of the trade confirmed the deal to NJ Advance Media.
The Eagles already acquired backup quarterback Sam Howell and offensive tackle Fred Johnson, which fixed depth issues at those respective positions. Johnson’s arrival made Kinnard expendable.
Kinnard cross trained at guard and tackle during training camp and was projected to be one of the Eagles’ top backup OL this season.
Rookie center Drew Kendall , offensive guard/tackle Matt Pryor and guard/center Brett Toth could make up Philadelphia’s backup interior OL
