TWIN FALLS — Students at the Bridge Academy Alternative Middle School on Friday learned about what the American flag symbolizes as Military Leadership students led the inaugural flag raising at a new flagpole on campus.

Several local elected officials attended the ceremony, according to a press release from Twin Falls School District.

Military Leadership students from Twin Falls High School explained flag etiquette and how to handle the American flag with respect.
