WASHINGTON — The verbal showdown between President Trump and Gov. Moore continues to escalate.
Although the Maryland governor has voiced his disapproval of the president’s decision making and priorities for months, the decision to deploy the National Guard in DC has caused the two leaders to clash once again.
Last Thursday, Gov. Moore sent a letter to White House, inviting President Trump to walk Baltimore’s streets during the city’s Safety Walk in September. The letter came after President Trump suggested crime in Baltimore was too far gone.
