PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The location for funeral services for former Judge Frank Caprio have been announced by Caprio’s family on the judge’s Facebook page.

David Caprio, the son of Judge Caprio, announced Monday morning that public remembrance and visitation will take place at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.

The Hall A visitation will take place on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. with complimentary three-hour parking in the North Garage.

The funeral service will take place Friday at the Cathedral of Saints Paul and Peter in Providence at 10 a.m. with a Requiem Mass with Archbishop of Boston Richard Henning.

Burial will be private.

Caprio passed away Wednesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 88.
