SEPTA “doomsday scenario” arrives; here’s what you need to know

SEPTA’s first round of service cuts began Sunday and will affect the first day of school for Philadephia’s public school students today.

Reactions have ranged from stress and fear to outrage and resolve , as riders prepared for the end of 32 bus routes and reduction of service on 88 bus, trolley, subway and Regional Rail lines. Riders of West Philly’s No. 12 mourned its loss .
