MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) — Move-in day at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is underway Monday and will continue through Wednesday.

Each student has a designated move-in date and time, which can be found in their " My UW Housing " account.

Students and their visitors are allowed one vehicle in the unloading zone for 45 minutes to unload their belongings. After the 45 minutes, they must move their vehicles to visitor parking on campus or city parking .

Those who are not participating in move-in are encouraged to avoid campus and the surrounding area, as roads will be especially busy and congested throughout the day. Heavy traffic is expected near key entry points, including Observatory Drive, University Avenue and West Dayton Street.
