A rare albino dolphin has been spotted swimming off the coast of Virginia

The aquatic mammal was recorded on video by a boat tour company

The sighting comes a few years after one named Casper was seen in California waters

A rare albino dolphin has been located off the coast of Virginia.

The unique species was spotted in the water by passengers on a tour boat traveling around Chincoteague Island, as seen in a video shared by Snug Harbor Marina on Facebook on Aug. 15.

In the clip filmed by tour guide Captain John Shields, a white bottle nose dolphin is seen swimming up to the surface with its fin poking in and out of the water repeatedly as tourists watch on in amazement from their boat.
