BROCKPORT, N.Y. (WROC) — Students at SUNY Brockport began classes on Monday, celebrating the start of a new semester and another year of record-breaking enrollment.

On August 22, the university welcomed over 2,000 new undergraduate students for move-in day. A reported 420 new graduate students, including 54 international students, are also taking the next step in their academic journeys at Brockport.

According to University officials, the entering 2025 undergraduate class mirrors the previous two freshman classes and breaks a record as the largest class in almost 50 years. Overall enrollment has reportedly increased by over 20 percent since 2022.
