WARREN A Youngstown man who pled guilty in June to robbing a U-Haul facility has learned his fate.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 44-year-old Robert Elias was sentenced to 18 months in prison on one third-degree felony count of robbery.
The charge stems from an incident back in February of 2025 when police were called to the U-Haul facility on Main Avenue SW, where an employee told police he was "going to have to hurt someone today" and had a gun in his pocket.
Police said Elias never actually showed the gun, but he put his hand in his pocket after he mentioned having it. The woman gave Elias about $100 from the register before he left the scene.
