PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Monday begins Welcome Week at Grand Canyon University for the 2025-26 school year.
Students started moving into dorms on Monday, and among the “organized chaos” was a reason to celebrate. This fall, GCU is welcoming its largest enrollment ever: over 133,000 students!
Move-in is scheduled in rounds throughout the week so that no day becomes too overwhelming.
“All the families are invited to schedule an appointment to move in, so they have a slot that they can unload their car and move in all their students’ belongings,” Dean of Students Tim Griffin said. “So it’s a very busy, busy morning for a lot of families.”
This year’s freshman class also set a record with over 17,000 students enrolled.
Classes at GCU begin the day after Labor Day.
