A man was hospitalized after a car and motorcycle collided this weekend on the Upper West Side, police confirmed to West Side Rag.

The crash, which took place Saturday around 5:20 p.m. on Amsterdam Avenue and 94th Street, prompted a large emergency response, with dozens of police officers and multiple fire trucks, NYPD said and photos of the scene show.

A 59-year-old woman was driving a 2012 Honda eastbound on 94th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, when a 33-year-old man riding a Viper motorcycle traveling north on Amsterdam collided with the passenger side of the car, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle was placed on a stretcher and into an ambulance and taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition, according to police and eyewitnesses.
