The first full week of college football comes with the typical scarcity of quality games. But the games that are good are really good.
Three top-10 matchups spice the lineup: Texas at Ohio State, Louisiana State at Clemson and Notre Dame at Miami.
That’s the spoonful of sugar that makes the medicine go down. Nine games matching top-25 teams with Division I-AA opponents, and six more top-25 teams playing mid-majors.
