The building is slated to be demolished by early 2026, according to the city.
The mall opened in the 1980s and was once the second-largest mall in Ohio.
In recent years, the mall struggled to maintain tenants and officially closed to the public in 2022.
The last few tenants, Kohl's and Bass Pro Shops, closed in 2024 and 2025.
So what is next for the site?
The city says the Hillman Group, a Cincinnati-based hardware distributor, will anchor the site’s transformation with a 715,000-square-foot multipurpose facility.
