LAMONT, Fla. (WCTV) - Visitors to the North Florida Wildlife Center will soon get an up-close look at one of the most unique primates in the world—the black-and-white ruffed lemur.
“This is not only amazing for our lemurs being in a naturalistic habitat, but for our guests to be able to view them behaving and interacting with their environment like they would in the wild,” said Executive Director Ryan Reines.
WCTV first introduced you to the black-and-white ruffed lemurs back in January and shared the news of the generous donation of the new state-of-the-art exhibit.
After months of building, crews are now putting the finishing touches on a new exhibit designed specifically for the critically endangered species.
