Vicksburg High School was founded in 1845 for students in elementary and high school, according to Moms Who Think .
In 1914, a new, two-story high school was built, which is now known as the Old Vicksburg High School.
The campus was racially integrated in 1960, and in 1989, the campus was moved to its current location.
