PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - The Portland Police Bureau says officers worked to address illegal street racing in the city for the second night in a row.

PPB said officers pulled over 29 cars and arrested two people during a 10-hour mission on Saturday.

On Sunday evening, officers first responded to the intersection of North Lombard Street and North Chautauqua Boulevard on reports of about 50 to 60 cars blocking traffic and people driving recklessly.

PPB said the crowd dispersed when officers arrived but relocated to the area of North Marine Drive and North Portland Road. Officers followed the group and began to stop vehicles, which prompted the group to move again, this time to the Lloyd Center area.
