WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — The city of West Columbia announced on Monday, August 25, that the entirety of the West Columbia Riverwalk and Amphitheater system is open, from the Moffatt Street Entrance to the Cayce connection.

The Moffatt Street section of the Riverwalk along the Saluda River, above Jarvis Klapman Boulevard, had been closed for repairs following damage from Hurricane Helene in September 2024.

City of West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles said, “The reopening of the entire Riverwalk is a wonderful moment for West Columbia. This space brings people together to connect with nature, exercise, and enjoy time with family and friends.
