POULSBO -- Preserving the history of Little Norway since the ‘90s, the Poulsbo Historical Society got its start shuffling boxes of artifacts between member’s basements before eventually landing downtown. Soon, the museum’s notable history of its own will begin a new chapter and say goodbye to one of its longest homes.
The Poulsbo City Council recently voted to end a real estate contract with PHS, citing a need for the extra space in city hall to accommodate growth in operations. That will bring to end an a connection with city hall at some capacity since 1992, when PHS initially set up in a small storage room at the old building.
